Tensions rise when Leyla, a member of the Yaman family, she is kidnapped, sparking Zuleyha's wrath. She suspects Umit, believing him to be the mastermind behind the kidnapping. Meanwhile, Umit, prisoner at Demir's behest, finds himself in a complicated and dangerous situation.

The situation becomes further complicated when the prosecutor, influenced by a suggestion from Umit, he begins to suspect that the attack on the villa was orchestrated by Demir himself, as a diversion to escape justice.

Fikret, increasingly involved in the affairs of the Yaman family, start putting the pieces of the puzzle together. Suspect that Hakan Gumusoglu, a character with a dark and complicated past, is the real person responsible for the attack on the villa.
Meanwhile, in Smyrna, Abdulkadir updates Hakan on his brother's death. Betul, eager to take control of Demir's company, is restless. She does not know who purchased the 25% of the company shares sold by Zuleyha, a detail that could prove crucial.
The day becomes full of tension when Fekeli, in prison, learns of the attack on Demir's house and asks for leave to take care of his families. In the meantime, Zuleyha, without news of Demir, face your anxiety. The concern for Uzum, still in a coma, and the anger towards Cumali, seen enjoying a banquet, trigger strong and unexpected reactions.

The Sunday of “Bitter Land” opens with a moment of joy: little Uzum returns home from the hospital, bringing a little serenity to a tumultuous week. However, happiness is short-lived. A week after Uzum's return, the situation becomes complicated: Demir is still missing and Umit, with the help of Cumali, kidnaps Adnan.
Zuleyha is faced with a difficult choice: or not to meet Umit to get his son back? This meeting, however, ends in an unexpected tragedy: Zuleyha shoots and kills Umit.
When Zuleyha confesses to Ali Rahmet and Fikret that she shot Umit, it turns out that neither Umit's body nor the gun were found at the scene, leaving everyone to wonder if Umit is still alive.
In parallel, we find that Umit's body and Zuleyha's gun were actually taken by Abdulkadir and Hakan, which they plan to use this evidence to blackmail Zuleyha. Tensions rise when it is revealed that Cumali is Adnan's real kidnapper, escaped without leaving any traces.
While Zuleyha, thanks to Ali Rahmet's advice, finds the strength to face the situation and establishes herself as the true lady of the Yaman, the dangers are far from over. Hakan, with new evil plans, seems to have set his sights on her.
