Tradition of Pisatura in Teggiano: the art of ancient crafts

From Friday 21 to Sunday 23 July 2023 a Teggiano, a small town in the province of Salerno, the eagerly awaited event dedicated to the ancient tradition of the Piping. The event is organized byCultural Association As.CAM and will allow all guests to take a journey back in time, to discover the ancient crafts of peasant life a Prato Perillo di Teggiano.

In particular, it will be an unmissable theatrical representation which traces the scenes of rural life and the technique of separating the ear of wheat from the grain. Two oxen going round in the farmyard tow a large stone, this is exactly how this ancient art began.

The theater show will start at 20:30. Sunday 23 July at 18:30 there will be:

• Parade of vintage tractors
• Threshing
• Exhibition of old threshers and tools

And so much more. There will also be Lola cow, thanks to which little visitors will have the opportunity to live the milking experience.
