This morning, the railway network between Florence and Bologna suffered serious inconvenience because of derailment of some carriages of a freight train near Firenze Castello station.
Rete Ferroviaria Italiana (RFI) communicated that the accident caused damage, but fortunately no injuries. The inconveniences have also reached other cities, such as the central station of Napoli.

Even in Napoli Centrale station travelers are facing considerable inconvenience due to the delays and cancellations of high-speed trains due to the derailment of the freight car between Florence and Bologna.
Currently, two trains Frecciarossa coming from Turin and Milan are expected in Naples with a 215 minutes late. Other high-speed trains have less delays. For five convoys departing from the Neapolitan station, they are expected substitute services or direct cancellations.
