Following the statements by the President of the Campania Region Vincenzo De Luca, pharmacies have decided to suspend vaccinations with the Johnson & Johson vaccine.

In fact, after the many doubts that arose about AstraZeneca and the lack of clarity of the Government, De Luca declared that in Campania no viral vector vaccines will be administered, that is AstraZeneca and also Johnson & Johnson.

Pharmacies are only authorized to administer Johnons & Johnson at the moment, so the consequence of the declaration by the Governor of Campania is precisely the decision to suspend vaccinations at the pharmacy.

De Luca turned to the Government asking for greater clarity and not to use vague terms such as "it is not recommended, it is preferable, it is recommended", but to be clearer with expressions such as "it is forbidden" or "it is allowed".

So, at the moment even pharmacies are forced to give one stop vaccinations, pending clearer provisions.
