Here are the new exhibitions coming to the Museum of Capodimonte in Naples up to 2021 between Van Gogh, Degas, Sophia Loren and Cy Twombly!

There are other excellent news for Neapolitan citizens and for tourists who will visit Napoli in the coming years and concern the new exhibitions that will be set up at Museum of Capodimonte until 2021.

After the great success of the Picasso exhibition, which ends on 10 July 2017, thanks to the director Sylvain Bellenger, our museum will host exhibitions on Van Gogh, Degas, Cy Towmbly, Sophia Loren, as well as some initiatives concerning works already present in the Capodimonte collections.

This was announced by the director Bellenger on the occasion of a meeting organized by the Campania Region in which the president Vincenzo De Luca and Jack Lang, former French Minister of Culture, Communication and National Education were also present.

The new exhibitions at the Museo di Capodimonte

From December 2017

The calendar of new initiatives will begin in December 2017 with the review White paper in which ten personalities of culture will set up their own exhibition, having in fact carte blanche, choosing 10 works among the more than 40mila of the Capodimonte collection.

From April to July 2018

From October 2018 to January 2019
