The new Sgarbi exhibitions in Naples

Specifically, as reported by Repubblica, the first exhibition will be titled "Picasso and his time, from Montmartre to Montparnasse", While the second will be called"The museum of madness, from Van Gogh to Maradona".

The Picasso exhibition and its time, from Montmartre to Montparnasse

The exhibition on Picasso, which will take place from 4 October to 4 March 2017 which at the moment is well represented also with Parade at the Capodimonte Museum, he will tell us about the Spanish artist and his friends from the École de Paris, a great artistic movement of the 900th century. There will be well 120 works by Bateau-Lavoir, Modigliani, Fernande Olivier, Max Jacob, who was Picasso's muse and companion, and of course the Spanish artist.
The scenography will be phenomenal because a small Montmartre square will be set up outside of the exhibition site to recreate a corner of Paris in Naples. Furthermore, a hologram of Picasso will talk with visitors for a breathtaking scenic effect.

The project will be in collaboration with the Picasso museum in Paris and will be presented by Maya Picasso

The exhibition The museum of madness, from Van Gogh to Maradona

The exhibition on Van Gogh and Maradona will be held from April to December 2018 and will focus on border between genius and madness and on the difficult relationship that artists like Van Gogh or sports geniuses like Maradona have with themselves.

The project is still under development, but Sgarbi would like to directly involve Maradona and invite him to the exhibition.
