ANM buses and trams will suffer a reduction in service for the 2016 municipal elections in Naples.
On the occasion of the municipal elections in Naples of 5 June 2016,ANM (Neapolitan Mobility Company) communicates that the will be in force reduced hours as regards the movement of means of transport.
The motivation is to be found in the participation of a part of the staff in the consultations, for which they will be present in the seats as chairmen, scrutineers and list representatives. This is a faculty to which they are entitled according to current regulations.
Specifically, the rubber service of the bus numbers and also that of the tram will undergo a modification and will be reduced and the days involved in the reduction will start from Saturday 4 June to end Tuesday 7 June.
In any case, ANM communicates that, for promote mobility during the election day, it will put in place all the initiatives useful to compensate for the inconveniences, at least in part, as extraordinary and shift of rest periods.
Subway 1 Line
With regard to the subway line 1, the service will be regular and extensions of Friday 3 and Saturday 4 June will be ensured
Funicular
The service of the funiculars it will be regular.
Bus
Below are the variations of the buses.
Saturday June 4th
- for the following lines the service will not be insured: C9-C14-C24-572-C65-C76-C91-C94-C88-C3-164-C5-C84-C96
- the following lines will be in service in the morning band: E6-C87-C36
- for most of the other lines there will be a reduction in service
Sunday 5th June
- service for the following lines will not be insured: C24-572-C65-C76-E6
- for most of the other lines there will be a reduction in the offer.
Monday 6th June
The service will be reduced for most lines and the reduction will be around 20%.
Tuesday 7 June
A reduced service will be implemented on the basis of the needs that should arise

Other alerts
On Sunday 5th June the opening hours of the Chiaia and Sanità lifts will be extended until 21.00 pm. Instead, from 2 to 8 June the second exits of the subway stations of Rione Alto, Montedonzelli (“Via dell'Erba”) and Montecalvario (Toledo) will be closed.
