The Neapolitan sea is preparing to welcome new ones boats.
We are reminded of the famous Luna Rossa and all the other catamarans of the America's Cup, but this time the Gulf of Naples will make a dip in the past and will host The Vintage Sails, an event organized by the Royal Yatching Club Canottieri Savoia.
Beautiful retro boats, will parade for 5 days starting from 26 June 2013.
Not only will they show their beauty, but they will also compete in exciting competitions to bring home the Banca Aletti Trophy.
The prize will be awarded to the yacht that has won the best timing, the estimate will be based on all the times obtained during the various tests. Surely this trophy is the most coveted, but it will not be the only one.
La Angelo Lattarulo Triennale Cup consecutive, established in honor of the admiral of the same name, will be delivered to the boat that will reach first place during the race based on the "Massa Lubrense and back."
During the Vele d'Epoca it could not miss an award for elegance. The Yachting Marina Elegance Award it will be assigned to the crew, boat and owner who will be able to excel for their class.
I will also be challenged Classic Dragons, one-design boats built before the 1972. The winner of the race will get the Eduardo Pepe Gold Cup perpetual challenge.
We remind you that every boat can belong to the category "Bourgois"(Before the 1950) or"Classics"(Before the 1976).
