Via Tribunali in Naples becomes a pedestrian area even during the week
The area of Via Tribunali in Naples becomes pedestrian even during the week to make the area more accessible to residents and tourists.
By resolution of the municipal council of 18 May 2017, the pedestrianization of thearea of via dei Tribunali in Naples. The area is now pedestrian even on weekdays and not just on weekends like last December.
In the scheduled time slots emergency vehicles can transit in the area and emergency e vehicles that accompany disabled people, taxis included. From Monday to Thursday, on the other hand, taxis transporting users will be allowed to go directly to the pedestrian area or out of it. In this way, the public transport service on the roads concerned is to be improved.
Hours
The pedestrianization device will be active Monday to Saturday from 10.00 to 23.00 , Sunday from the 9.00 15.00.
The pedestrian area
Particularly the areas concerned will be the following: Via Tribunali, from Via Nilo to Via Duomo, vico Purgatorio ad Arco, piazza San Gaetano, piazza San Gregorio Armeno, piazza Gerolomini, vico Cinquesanti, vico Giganti and vico Gerolomini.
The area will be monitored by the Municipal Police, which will verify the functionality of the pedestrianization device. As the Councilor for Mobility Mario Calabrese declares, the interventions are aimed at enhance the historic center for citizens and tourists.
