At the Casina Vanvitelliana, "A chillo tiempo ch'era viva Vava ..." will be staged, an extraordinary theatrical guided itinerary
The Fusaro hunting lodge, known as the Casina Vanvitelliana, Sunday 26 April 2015, will be the location of "A chillo I'll tell you that Vava was alive ...", the extraordinary guided tour with show.
The event, directed by Gaetano Basile, will guide visitors through the beauty of the building dating back to the 1782, built by Carlo Vanvitelli at the behest of King Ferdinand IV. In addition, the participants, accompanied by a guide and the poet Giambattista Basile, will witness an extraordinary show taken from "The cunto de li cunti" of the same Basile.
The story is based on a legend that sees a noble Marquis of Naples, residing in the Casina, asking for help from his servant Pulcinella, to free his daughter from a terrible bill thrown to him, out of spite, by a witch. Between misunderstandings, false doctors, strange characters and a brash and shameless Pulcinella, the story will reach the happy ending.
Una bella iniziativa dunque, per apprezzare la napoletanità artistica, culturale e sociale: infatti parte del ricavato sarà donato a "We love LIS", a special project aimed at creating guided tours in sign language.
