The Pietrarsa Museum will be the protagonist of exceptional visits and star observations!
Il 31 October 2015, National Railway Museum of Pietrarsa will be the protagonist of "Fascinated by trains, bewitched by the stars", the exceptional event dedicated to the extraordinary railway collection and to astronomy.
The initiative, organized by the FS Foundation and with the collaboration of the Neapolitan Astrophiles, provides for theprolonged opening of the famous museum pole that will be the protagonist of an interesting program full of guided tours and special events.
In particular, it will be possible to admire the beautiful railway exhibits kept in the exhibition pavilions and take part, at the Cinema Hall, to elegant projections on the Moon, on the Solar System and on the new planets discovered.
All surrounded by observations of the sky, of the moon, of star clusters, of double stars and of the autumn constellations that will take place, with the naked eye or with the aid of lasers and telescopes, at the complex's garden and amphitheater.
Last but not least, at the end of the evening it will be possible taste excellent staples and croissants served at the refreshment point.
