The common thread of the 2015 edition of Wine & TheCity will be # inebriation! Here are the first news on this year's program
Even this year Wine & TheCity returns to Naples for two weeks full of events, conferences, appointments dedicated to art and design and, of course, many meetings in which the absolute protagonist will be wine.
That of 2015 is now the eighth edition and is part of the calendar of special events of NAPOLIperEXPò with the aim of internationalize the exhibition and promote the tourist flow.
For this summer's appointment, the festival will present itself to the public with a new image and many novelties. It will take place from 6 to 20 May in different locations in the city, all under the banner of the keyword identified by the hashtag #ebbrezza.
Wine & TheCity was born in 2008 thanks to Donatella Bernabò Silorata and has been configured as an “Fuori salone del vino” of the wider Vitignoitalia, becoming the first out of the hall of an eno-gastronomic event.
The appointments, which for the first time will take place over a longer period of time than in previous editions, will be divided into "OFF events" e "Circuit on the road". The venues of the numerous events will also be many more; it will go from underground to the sea, from metropolitan vineyards to shopping streets, with events hosted by historic buildings, private homes, museums, hotels, artists' studios, shops, restaurants, art and design galleries, pizzerias.
Furthermore, the program will be enriched by art performances, flash mobs, theater, urban itineraries, itinerant tastings.
Taking its cue from wine culture and tradition, Wine & TheCity will also be an opportunity for to make art, fashion, shopping, gastronomy and design interact, showing the complexity of the different contaminations between different artistic fields and beyond. So much so that the other key word of the whole exhibition will be “contamination”.
The calendar of all events is not yet complete, but at the moment we can give you some advances on the stages which, during these intense 15 days, will take place for Wine & TheCity.
