Youth on the Move in Naples with the European mobility programs

Youth on the move will be in Piazza Dante to raise awareness among young people on the importance of mobility in Europe

Naples is the city chosen to host the new edition of Youth on the Move (Youth on the move) intended primarily for a young audience.

The Directorate-General for Employment, Social Affairs and Inclusion of the European Commission has promoted this initiative by referring to similar projects already present in other European countries, such as Hungary, France, Germany and Poland to help young people find job opportunities at European level thus improving their professional prospects.

The event also wants improve the level of education of European children, encouraging their study and training in European countries different from their own.
The Naples edition was organized by the Youth Department and the Ceicc and will take place over the days 24 and 25 October 2014 in the tensostructure of Piazza Dante.

The program includes a series of information and awareness activities, designed with the aim of making young people understand the importance of moving abroad to improve their skills and knowledge. They will thus be able to face new ones study and training experiences, as well as volunteering. In this way, learning new languages ​​will have more chances to access the labor market.

Many stands will be set up in the building that will host Youth on the Move, including that of the Europe Direct centers of Campania. In addition, they will be organized interactive seminars, animations, dance shows, live music, graffiti and urban writing events.
