Ztl Naples piazza Dante via Duomo suspended

Ztl of Piazza Dante and via Duomo temporarily suspended. Go-ahead to cars and motorbikes without time limits

As already announced a few months ago, the City of Naples, to meet the demands of citizens and traders, had intended to reopen to the traffic via Duomo and Piazza Dante, nerve zones and obligatory roads to get to some of the most important areas of the city.

The Ztl of Piazza Dante and Via Duomo were then renewed from 9 to 18, with the exception of two-wheeled vehicles, on an experimental basis of 90 days last April.

But, finally, we learn from the pages of the morning that from Monday 22 July the Ztl of Piazza Dante and via Duomo will be suspended without time limits for both motorbikes and cars. The decision was taken by the mayor de Magistris himself and the new order will certainly be in force until the 31 August 2013.

Since September onwards, the Ztl in these two areas will only be active from 9 am to 18 pm, always to meet the demands of traders and workers who daily cross these areas early morning and late afternoon.

The limited traffic zones of the historic center of the Spanish Quarters and of Via dei Tribunali remain confirmed.
