In Casertavecchia Un Borgo di Libri, the literary festival with Italian and international authors

Starting from 29 August until 11 September 2022, At Casertavecchia, a medieval village in the municipality of Caserta, and on the occasion of September at the Borgo the fifth edition of A Hamlet of Books.

It is a special cultural festival with free admission which is directed by the journalist Luigi Ferraiuolo and made possible thanks to the support of the Municipality of Caserta.

The theme chosen for this new edition is “Future memories | Creative writings " to underline how writing, reading together with memory and culture in general are the basis for building a better future.

The program promises to be really rich, with approx forty appointments and with the participation of national and international authors. There will indeed be Roberto Saviano, Massimo Bray, the magistrate Alfredo Sorvillo and many others. Don't miss the appointment!

• 18 pm Centro Iperion: «Like Dante» Dynamic reading of Andri Snær Magnason's poems taken from «Bonus» in a shopping centre, the Centro Iperion in Caserta, curated by the collective «Nottetempo»: Antonio Di Lorenzo, Piero Gabriele, Giorgia Fosso, Diego Laudato, Luigi Nittoli, Francesco Ricciardi and the poet and performer Alfredo Martinelli
• 19:00 in Piazza Duomo Get to know Caserta: Casertavecchia and San Leucio
• 20:00 in Piazza Duomo Future Scriptures, La Caffetteria di Carta Antonella Cilento converses with Marilena Lucente, writer; and Emanuele Tirelli, author and journalist
