ANM for School in Naples: dozens of new buses for the reopening of schools
Enhanced the bus service in Naples thanks to the ANM for School program to encourage the reopening of schools!
ANM for School starts again, the program of public transport and micro-mobility for the resumption of schools in presence in Naples.
It was presented by the mayor Luigi De Magistris and foresees the best possible service in safety to allow secondary school children to return to school.
From 1 February 2021 new bus lines depart to ensure school recovery and the service involves over 19 dedicated bus lines, 45 buses involved, over 350 daily runs. In addition, the new lines also respond to the requests of 30 schools located in places not reached by the underground or Cumana and take into account the start times of lessons in person.
To these new buses is added the strengthening of the service with 15 additional buses and 100 trips already thought in the previous weeks on a further 11 lines. Overall, the expansion of the offer is based on 19 lines (20 with the S1 suspended), with 45 buses and 450 additional journeys to the basic programming.
The EAV provides additional bus rides for students.
The bus lines of ANM School
The newly activated lines:
S2 line: connecting the Vomero, the university complex of MS Angelo, that of
Fuorigrotta and the schools of via Terracina - via N. Agnano-Bagnoli (exercises with bus
Gran Turismo)
S3 line: of connection between Pianura / Soccavo and the institutes of via Manzoni / Caravaggio
(line operates in a mixed way, with bus and Granturismo)
S4 line: of connection between Pianura / Fuorigrotta and the institutes of via Terracina and viale
Kennedy (line operates in a mixed way, with bus and Granturismo)
S5 line: of connection between Pianura and the schools of Vomero (line operates in
mixed way, with bus and Granturismo)
606 Line: in operation on the Scampia-Secondigliano-Don Bosco-p. Carlo-III-p.
Garibaldi (operates with Granturismo bus)
680 Line: direct connection via Tangenziale between Scampia / Secondigliano, Vomero (IV
Giornate), and Fuorigrotta (operates with Granturismo buses)
682 Line: Paternum - Secondigliano - Don Bosco (operates with Granturismo bus)
684 Line: Galaxies - Secondigliano - Calata Capodichino - Carlo III - Foria (practiced with
Granturismo bus)
The S1 line, which connects the metro station 2 and the Cumana di Campi Flegrei with the universities
Federico II of via Claudio and MS Angelo, is suspended until the reactivation of teaching in presence a
MS Angelo.
In addition to the new lines, there are 15 additional buses and 100 routes already scheduled on the following lines:
