Guided visits for visually impaired and blind people at Palazzo Zevallos Stigliano di Napoli

Two interesting events to allow even the disabled to enjoy the artistic beauties of Naples.

In particular, the 3 and the 17 July 2015, the Intesa Sanpaolo group has organized some exceptional free guided tours for visually impaired and blind people at the Galleries of Palazzo Zevallos Stigliano, an illustrious museum center in the city.
It will be possible thanks to a tactile book, composed of a map of the museum spaces and reproductions of some important works from the vast art gallery collection.

The volume, which will be usable for free, has been carefully realized with the Minolta oven technique and is related by Braille teaching tables. The visits will last about an hour and will be assisted by a cultural mediator. In addition, the participants will be provided with a map of the route to be taken and the relief tables, tactile consultable, which reproduce the selected works, the complex and three-dimensional objects to be touched.

A sensorial artistic experience that has a high social value in the process of cultural integration of the disabled.
