BaccalàRE on the Naples waterfront, the great festival returns with haute cuisine, music and aperitifs
Return, against the backdrop of the wonderful Waterfront of Naples, one of the most anticipated events ever, namely Cod, the event will take place from Wednesday 27 May to Sunday 5 June 2022.
As in previous editions, the fifth edition of the event will also be dedicated to cod, that is the cod that is obtained through a process of salting and seasoning. The event program is really rich and provides 10 days of fun and special guests who will teach the public many recipes about cod and how to use it in the kitchen.
The program will be full of events between cooking show, Gala Dinner, tastings e live music with stands and kitchens overlooking the sea.
The numbers of the past editions have been incredible with more than 300mila visitors, 10 tons of processed raw material, 30 restaurateurs involved. This year the aim is to reach at least 400 thousand visitors.
Cod: a food rich in beneficial properties
With the term cod we refer to the northern gray cod, it is a food rich in proteins with high nutritional value, low in fat and calories. It is also rich in lysine, which is an essential amino acid, so defined because our body is not able to synthesize but necessary for the body, in addition to containing calcium, Omega 3, 6 e 9 and vitamin A.
There are many recipes that can be prepared with cod, it can be eaten both fried and baked, as a condiment for pasta, with salads and delicious sauces. Certainly during the event Cod fish you will know many curiosities about how to consume it.
Menu, aperitifs and music
Admission to the event will be free and, to taste the products, you can buy menus offered in two ways with different prices for adults and children, lower prices than in the past to meet the needs of families.
The two menus:
- for adults case a first or second course or a square of your choice plus alcoholic or non-alcoholic drink plus sweet coffee.
- for the children sweeter pizza plus drink.
They will be served in fully compostable material
There will be every night appetizers e music from 18 am to 24 pm.
