Bookmob returns to Naples with a new appointment in Piazza Dante to exchange a book with other readers!
After the success of the previous editions, the Librincircolo cultural association organizes another one Bookmob a Napoli. The appointment is in Piazza Dante the 9 September 2016. The event consists of a meeting that allows you to exchange surprise books: the goal is the free sharing of books.
A year is chosen each year theme for the packaging: this time it's the turn of the school, which should be inspired by the packages. In just two minutes the participants will find in their hands a new book to discover, the all by surprise thanks to the game of randomness.
How it works
It is necessary to go to the appointment with one or more books already packed. It will be formed a huge circle in the square at the appointed time. Everyone will have in their hands their own book packaged as a gift, according to the chosen theme for free interpretation!
At the start, each one will pass their book to the partner who is on the left and will take the one that will be given to him by the partner on the right and will do this movement continuously. The books will thus scroll inside the circle clockwise and randomly.
The passage of the books will be marked by the bill that will be done all together up to 20. At the end of the bill, each one will have a new book in their hands. If someone wants to give away more than one book, they can leave in the center of the circle the extra packages. Only at the end of the count up to 20 will there be another mini-countdown and the first to run in the center of the circle will be able to take bonus books.
In case of rain, the event will take place anyway.
