From 6 to 8 July 2023, the borough of Vairano Patenora, located in the province of Caserta, will host CantinArte, an event that unites love for food and wine local with the performance of buskers. The main objective of CantinArte is to improve and rediscover the . immaterial, monumental and cultural of this community.
Between food, tastings and street artists
Born with the intention of making the local tradition and culture of Vairano Patenora shine, CantinArte is a three-daily event that will take place from Thursday 6 to Saturday 8 July 2023. The event aims to transform symbols of the “old and uncomfortable” historic center, such as cellars, alleys and historic buildings, in scenarios of a vibrant evocation of the past.
CantinArte will bring new life in the historic alleys with the contribution of artists, who will contribute to the creation of permanent installations and murals. The event thus becomes a stage for the rediscovery of the cultural roots of the village, combining contemporary art with tradition.
The event is enriched by a tasting journey, which will allow participants to savor wines and foods of the local tradition. The route will be set up in the picturesque scenery of the eighteenth-century historic center of the districts San Giovanni and Arezzo, where there are numerous cellars dug underground. These will be reopened and can be visited for the occasion, offering an authentic and immersive experience in the local culture.
