From 19 to February 25 2023, will be held the historic festival of Palomonte Carnival. The city will offer parades e carts allegorical to celebrate the ancient seeds created more than 30 years ago thanks to the commitment of local families. Mayor Felice Cupo said: “We want to enhance this ancient tradition".
Tradition, Parades and allegorical floats for Carnival
The Palomontese is a unique event which has been renewed for over three decades! Local families create tailored suits for hundreds of people, who play the role of gods during the festival extras and help build spectacular allegorical floats.
The allegorical floats they will parade along the country roads and will reach three destinations for an amazing party. Not only, therefore, parades but also music, fireworks and many other forms of entertainment that will enliven the various locations involved.
Furthermore, since it is now an event with its own historicity, the Municipality of Palomonte has decided to collect historical photographs of the festivities.
