The area of Chiaia, in particular the area limited to baretti, will undergo a new one modification of the device of the traffic vehicular, limited to the evening hours.
Il prohibition of circulation before it extended to the whole arc of the day (24 hours), but from 1 July it will only apply from 19 am to 7 pm of the morning. Vicoletto Belledonne, Piazza dei Martiri and Via Poerio will be kept underneath control through cameras fixed near the telematic gates.
The video surveillance system will record the number plates of vehicles illegally passing the area outside the pre-established time, with the exception of taxis, ambulances, freight transport and residents with regular permits.
The new provision is the result of the desire of the traders, who had repeatedly requested the possibility of reduce the time of the ban, freeing up at least the daytime hours, in order to reach the area more comfortably.
