Comicon 2016 will be full of surprises and news, here are the best events not to be missed!
18 years have passed and still today the Comicon represents one of the most loved and experienced events in Naples and throughout the South of Italy.
And the new edition, to be held from The 22 25 April 2016 both at Mostra d'Oltremare, presents a rich program of events dedicated to the world of comics, ready to entertain and excite the audience that every year becomes more numerous.
Guests, market exhibitions, games, video games, projections, competitions, music and fun will be the protagonists of the Comicon 2016 events, here are all the details.
Meeting with Don Rosa
The great Disney cartoonist Don Rosa he will meet all his fans at the Teatro dell'Odmare in the Mediterranean Theater, for a special evening dedicated to his masterpieces such as, the genealogical family tree of the ducks and the Paperon de'Paperoni saga and many unpublished and rare works.
Exhibition The Grandiosa DC Comics
Simultaneously with The Comicon 2016, at the Pignatelli Cortes Museum the exhibition will be set up The grandiose DS Comics, the exhibition dedicated to the greatest comic book superheroes. In review there will be the various stages of drafting of the superheroistic tale, the original tables of the international designers, and all the anecdotes and stories that lie behind the heroes.
Gamecon 2016
The 5 and 6 pavilions will be dedicated to Gamecon 2016, the kermesse dedicated exclusively to games and video games. Three not-to-be-missed appointments: the playroom, with free gaming tables and role-playing games; the Mystery area that will propose to the public well 4 enigmas to solve; and finally Tournaments with the League of Legend and the Cospaly competition.
Asian Village
The appointment with L 'is also backAsian Village, the special section dedicated to the world of the Rising Sun with many activities such as, music, shows, exhibitions, comics, idols, anime, martial arts, gamesi, quizzes with prizes, fashion shows, cosplay, dancers, karaoke and special contests.
Cosplay Challenge
There will be no historians Cosplay Challenge and Cosplay Challenge PRO, the beloved competitions in costume that this year foresee two exceptional prizes: a trip to Japan and the selection to participate, as Italian representatives, at the world finals of the "Cosplay World Master 2016".
Cast of The Walking Dead and Outcast
Among the novelties of the 18th edition of Comicon, there is the intervention of the actors of The Walking Dead and Outcast. In particular there will be the participation of Michael Cudlitz, who plays the "red" Abraham in The Walking Dead series while for Outcast to welcome the Neapolitan audience will be Patrick Fugit (Kyle Barnes), Philip Glenister (Reverend Anderson), Wrenn Schmidt (Megan), Reg E. Cathey (Giles) and Kate Lyn Sheil (Allison Barnes).
Meeting with Frank Matano
Exceptional guest will be Frank Matano that the 24 April 2016 will arrive at the Mostra d'Oltremare, at the CartooNa Auditorium, where theIt will meet all the fans and will tell them its beginnings as youtuber, his career and the path that led him to success.
Monographic Exhibition "Good luck ... but not only"
Magister of the 2016 edition of Comicon Naples will be the great cartoonist Guido Silvestri aka Silver, known as the creator of Lupo Alberto. And Silvestri will be the protagonist of an interesting monographic exhibition dedicated to the stages of his career and to the creation and the affirmation of his characters.
Meeting with the Mangaka
Japanese manga enthusiasts can participate in exciting workshops together with Atsushi Kaneko, one of the best known and most appreciated mangaka in the world. There will also be the new faces of Italian comics such as Zerocalcare (23 and 24 April), Don Alemanno (autograph point from 11 to 12 on 25 April) and Sio.
Projections
Last but not least there will also be special projections of unpublished episodes of Adventure Time (23 April hours 18: 30), of the crossover episode of Super Girl and Flash (April 25 at 12:00) and the absolute preview of the first episode of the sixth season of Games Of Thrones (25 April 14 hours: 00).
