An appointment not to be missed with the Christmas Concert organized by the Conservatory of San Pietro a Majella in the Chisa della Pietrasanta in Naples: the event will be broadcast online!

On Wednesday, December 23, 2020, at 18:00 PM, there will be an unmissable event: the Christmas Concert organized by the Conservatory of San Pietro a Majella in Naples.

The event will be recorded in the evocative Basilica of Santa Maria Maggiore della Pietrasanta , which for the occasion has been set up by Scarabattola , the nativity scene art workshop of the Scuotto brothers with a truly breathtaking scenography.

Please note that due to anti-Covid 19 regulations, the concert can only be followed online , on the conservatory's Facebook and YouTube pages .

2020 Christmas Concert

The 2020 Christmas concert was organized by the San Pietro a Majella Conservatory of Music together with the Pietrasanta Cultural Center and will feature special guests.

In fact, the internationally renowned soprano Maria Grazia Schiavo will be there , who will perform Wiegenlied (Lullaby) by Richard Strauss, Dormi benigne by Carmine Giordano and Rejoice Greatly by Georg Friedrich Händel.

Then there will be the Conservatory's young voice choir , sixteen in all, who, directed by Maestro Antonio Berardo, will perform Dormi, dormi by Lajos Bardos, Quanno nascette ninno and Tu scendi dalle stelle by Sant'Alfonso Maria De Liguori, Brillò nel ciel by an anonymous 700th-century artist, White Christmas by Irving Berlin, O holy night by Adolphe-Charles Adam.
