Naples metro line 6 competition for train drivers and station managers: how to register

THEANM of Naples has published a call for tenders to hire 12 train drivers and 9 station managers which will have to be inserted in the underground line 6.

Those who will be hired, therefore, will work on the trains of this line which should be partially open by this year. In fact, theinauguration of the San Pasquale station by this summer and they have been well earmarked 400 million euros for the works both for line 6 and for the next line 10.

Returning to the competition, i new hires will enter the service immediately indefinitely and they will be there 6 month trial.

The deadline to register

You can register for the competition by 27 April 2022 at 12.00. Beyond this date and time it will no longer be possible to do so.

The dates of the competition tests

The dates of the competition tests have not yet been indicated, but the ANM will communicate them on its website about when the deadline for registering expires. Competition for train drivers

For station masters, the classification is at the CCNL Autoferrotranvieri with classification at parameter 153. The following profile:

Workers who, in possession of the required qualifications, are assigned to the management of all railway traction vehicles used by the company, also carrying out ancillary verification operations in accordance with regulatory provisions and / or company procedures.

The written test will be structured as follows. Multiple choice questions related to:

basic knowledge of the part of the infrastructure relating to train circulation / maneuvers and of the part
relating to energy management for electric traction;
knowledge of rail traffic management systems:
knowledge of train spacing and protection systems;
knowledge of the main equipment on board the train and the rules for safe use;
knowledge of on-board and ground telecommunication systems.

The written test will be correct in form anonymous.

Subsequently there will be an individual motivational technical interview to verify the degree of
correspondence of the candidate to the driver's profile with respect to:

Train spacing and protection systems;
Convoys braking systems;
Drive and traction circuit;
Verification of the act of departure of the train from a depot and entry into commercial service;
Railway infrastructure components;
Motivation for the role of Engineer for TPL;
Adaptability to the role;
Relational and communication skills;
Autonomy, responsibility in carrying out one's work activities;
Ability to manage unpredictable, dangerous and stressful situations.

The competition for stationmaster

For station masters, the classification is at the CCNL Autoferrotranvieri with classification at parameter 193. The following profile:

Workers who, in possession of the qualifications required for the movement management (Local Movement Management, Central Operations Management and / or Central Traffic Management) and for the management, in addition to carrying out the tasks of the Movement and Management Operator, direct the circulation of trains in line or in depots / train maintenance areas. They oversee a heavy traffic station and also operate a centralized traffic control center.
Workers who, in possession of the qualifications required for the movement management (Local Movement Management, Central Operations Management and / or Central Traffic Management) and for the management, in addition to carrying out the tasks of the Movement and Management Operator, direct the circulation of trains in line or in depots / train maintenance areas. Participation requirements

For the competition for station master the following requirements must be met:

the usual basic requirements that is citizenship and not having convictions that prevent participation, physical fitness, enjoy civil rights;
certificate of suitability issued by the USTIF pursuant to Ministerial Decree of 4 August 1998, n. 513 o Certification of "traffic management qualification" obtained for carrying out the safety task of "Local Movement Manager, Central Operations Manager" at a railway network manager;
driving license of category B;
at least 12 months of experience in a Local Public Transport (TPL) company or in a Railway Transport company;
authorization of the Ustif or authorization to drive the trains of other railways.

For the competition for train driver the following requirements must be met:

the usual basic requirements that is citizenship and not having convictions that prevent participation, physical fitness, enjoy civil rights;
high school diploma (Scientific High School, Surveyor, Electrotechnical / Electronic / Mechanical / Chemical / Computer Expert;
driving license of category B;
at least 12 months of experience in a Local Public Transport (TPL) company or in a Railway Transport company;
authorization of the Ustif or authorization to drive the trains of other railways;
certificates and / or training qualifications.
