I historic trams, obviously in disuse, of Napoli they will soon become profitable business? Apparently yes. Just recently there has been a lot of talk about the purchase, by a company from Caserta, of three historic public transport in Naples belonging to the 30s.
The goal is not simple luxury collecting, but that of transform these trams in pizzerias and places for aperitifs on wheels, in this way new ones could be born characteristic activities just like it happened to Milano, where many vintage trams have become exclusive restaurants.
Stephen DeMartino invest in a new business on wheels in Naples?
The occasion, apparently, does not seem to interest only companies, but also a well-known Neapolitan personality who is paying homage to his land several times: we are talking about the conductor Stephen DeMartino.
The famous boyfriend of Belen bought one of ANM vintage tramprecisely a model CT139K, one of the historic vehicles in service on the streets of Naples almost 100 years ago.
His hasn't been released yet intentions in this regard, indeed De Martino did not communicate the reason for this purchase, but we are almost certain that he too wants to open up to this new commercial trend of creating characteristic places on wheels, especially considering that the dancer has always shown that he cares about his city by returning to his land and investing in it.
How much did the tram pay Stephen DeMartino?
We do not know the precise figure of the tram purchased from Stephen DeMartino, but let's remember the auction base of ANM launched for these historic means of transport.
In 2021 the ANM, the Neapolitan Mobility Company, put it up for sale eleven historic cars, vintage trams of the CT139K models, purchased in the 30s.
Quattro of these trams could be reused, without the ANM logo, and are available for sale at the basic price of 3.780 euros each. A fairly affordable figure for such an investment that could give life to a new trendy place, even if we remember that the figure is only the starting auction price we don't know what the final one is. While the seven more instead they were intended for scrapping and the base price started from 2.800 euros.
