In Naples 400 million for works: metro lines 6 and 10 and Tangenziale entrance in Bagnoli

Excellent news for the city of Naples, in fact, the Cipess, the Interministerial Committee for Economic Planning and Sustainable Development has invested around 400 million euros which will be used for strategic works involving the Metro Line 6 and Line 10, which will be the first without a driver.

In particular:

  • about 333 million they will be used for the underground line 10 which will connect the center of Naples to the Afragola AV;
  • 37 millioni will be used to purchase trains for this line;
  • then again 14 million they will be used for the extension of line 6 towards Bagnoli;
  • another 5 million to Posillipo;
  • finally, 2 million for the construction of the tunnel from the Bagnoli area towards the Tangenziale.

In short, projects that aim at strengthen and improve connections in the city of Naples.

Funding for the Terra dei Fuochi

A special loan from Cipess is also planned for the Land of fires. The investment will be aimed at the development of these areas, growth and employment, to improve daily life, thanks to connections that will be quick and effective.

The works will affect the links:

  • Between the A1, the Grazzanise airport and the Domitian route
  • Between Afragola and the Naples underground network in the Bagnoli area
  • Between the A2 and the SS18 variant
  • Fondovalle Calore and the Campolattaro dam among the water works
