Bad news for travelers of the Cumana in Naples because in the days of Saturday 7 and Sunday 8 May 2022 the circulation will be interrupted, therefore it will not be possible to use this means of transport for two days.
This is what EAV communicates on its official website and the motivation lies in the need to allow the implementation of works that will double the tracks. Not only that, other interventions will also be made to make the entire infrastructure safer. For example, the renovation of the Gerolomini station , construction of the new Pozzuoli station. All this will make Cumana more modern and efficient, strengthening its circulation.
For these technical reasons, all traffic will have to be stopped, but replacement buses will be put on the road.
