From Monday 20 June 2022 it is necessary re-tune the channels of your television even in Campania, in fact the channels will have to pass on new frequencies of digital terrestrial and our Region is one of the last in which this operation has begun.

As a result of this change, some local broadcasters will no longer be found at the numbers and if you do not retune, you will no longer be able to see many channels

The reorganization of the frequencies took place in stages and on 30 June it will be complete for all the Italian regions, so it will be even closer to new DVB-T2 HEVC Main 10 platform which will be activated definitively on January 1, 2023. This is the new digital terrestrial which can only be received by new televisions or new decoders that can be connected to televisions not capable of supporting this technology.

How to change frequencies: retune channels

As also explained by the Ministry of Economic Development, i latest generation televisions automatically adapt changes in progress and should not require user intervention. Then retuning will take place automatically.

If this does not happen, it will be sufficient, using your remote control:

  • enter the options or in menu, depending on your settings;
  • find the entry related to tuning some channels in digital (not in analog);
  • choose the item related to receiving via Antenna (and not via cable);
  • proceed to retuning.

These are the basic steps, but the various options may have slightly different names depending on your TV.
