DiVin Castagne Festival 2017 in Sant'Antonio Abate: four days of tastings of art, workshops, music and show cooking!
From the 20 23 October the municipality of Sant'Antonio Abate it becomes a food and wine capital with the DiVin Chestnut Festival 2017. Now in its seventh edition, this year the festival focuses on young people and art.
The rouge file of the scheduled tastings will be just the a combination of wine and chestnuts, symbols of healthy traditional cuisine. The aim of the event is to rediscover the ancient flavors and good food through typical dishes and wines.
Renowned chefs will perform in showcooking, while young and old will be involved in educational paths, workshops, demonstrations and themed games. There will be music, thanks to the varied entertainment. The wineries of the area will also propose their excellence in an unmissable route of tastings with expert sommeliers.
Alongside local products, a special place is reserved for contemporary art, with the competition for young artists which provides a cash prize. Participants can present their work in photography, sculpture, painting and digital arts with a theme "Food in art and as art". Below is the program of the event, continuously updated.

Ludus - Games of Bacchus

Team games linked to the world of wine and conviviality: the palio delle barrotti is also scheduled.
Chiodino mushroom festival and mycological exhibition
from 19.00 am to 23.30 pm
Third edition of the festival, with exposure of more than 170 mushroom species including tastings and curiosities.
Meeting Camper
from 8.00 am to 23.30 pm
There will be an area dedicated to the camper meeting. A shuttle service is available to reach the event.
