Lucia Zagaria, 85, died in the early hours of the morning. The woman, wife of the actor Lino Banfi and mother of Rosanna Banfi, former competitor of Dancing with the Stars, had been suffering from Alzheimer's for some time.

Mourning for Lino Banfi and for Rosanna Banfi, former competitor of Dancing with the Stars: she passed away in the early hours of this morning, Lucia Zagaria, 85 years old, wife of the actor and mother of the actress. It was Banfi who announced it, who in a touching post published on Instagram, recalled her mother with these words:

The woman was long-term patient with Alzheimer's e Lino Banfi, in recent years, has always been by her side, taking care of her and often speaking about her experience in various interviews.

No comment instead from Lino Banfi, although, probably, the actor of "A doctor in the family" and many other well-loved TV series and movies, is experiencing a very painful moment.

Banfi, in more than one interview, had declared that he wanting to leave with his wife. The two have been united by a deep and sincere love for more than sixty years and, during one episode of Verissimo, the actor had revealed the secret of their love story:

“There is no recipe, the recipe is the building of a shared house, of sacrifices, of suffering. These great loves are concrete that becomes an anti-seismic house, they can't be demolished anymore."

Then, speaking of his wife, he was moved, especially when he recounted an episode in particular that saw him and himself as protagonists. Lucia Zagaria:

“Once, during the pandemic, he asked me: “Lino, can't we find a way to die together, the two of us? Because if you die first, I can't do it". When someone in a couple leaves before the other, it's like taking a couple photograph and tearing it in half. You can take all the hills in the world but it will never be like before.”
