Sunday June 12 2022 you vote in several Italian municipalities for theelection of the mayor and the city council and also in the town of Pozzuoli voters are involved in appointing the new First Citizen.
The outgoing mayor is Vincenzo Figliolia, elected in 2017 with the Democratic Party and the support of some civic lists, obtaining more than 70% of the votes.

When you vote
The polling stations will only be open Sunday 15 June 2022 from 7.00 to 23.00.
How to vote
To vote the mayor and the city councilors, using the ballot of course, there are several alternatives:
- you can put one cross on the name of the candidate for mayor to vote only the candidate and not one of the related lists or parties;
- you can put one cross on a list symbol and the vote will go to both the list and the relative candidate for statutory auditor;
- you can put the cross both on the symbol of the list and on the name of the candidate for mayor, giving the vote to both;
- is possible the disjoint vote voting for a candidate for mayor and a list that supports another candidate;
- can be given at most two preferences for municipal councilors who are candidates on the same list or party. They express themselves by writing the surname of the candidates, or name and surname in case of homonymy;
- if two preferences are given for the municipal councilors, a man and a woman must be indicated. If two candidates of the same gender are indicated, the second preference is canceled.
Possible ballot
The candidate who obtains 50% + 1 of the votes, therefore the absolute majority, will be elected as the new mayor. If no one reaches this threshold, the two most voted candidates will go to the ballot on June 26 and the one who gets the most votes will win.
