Elton John concert at the Amphitheater of the Pompeii excavations for an exclusive live!
The news will please all the fans of the English singer: Elton John will be in concert in Pompeii, at the Amphitheater of Ruins of Pompeii, July 12 2016.
After many rumors about the eventual live, now the performance is confirmed and the date of Pompeii will be one of the three in Italy. Elton John, in fact, will also perform in two other cities in our country: the 15 July in Barolo and the 16 in Piazziola sul Brenta.
It will be a very exclusive concert in Pompeii, given that the Teatro Grande will be able to accommodate "only" 2000 people, but theperfect acoustics of the structure, the suggestive location and the charm of the ancient excavations they will make the concert unique in the world.
The artist will present the songs from his new album Wonderful Crazy Night, in addition of course to all his greatest successes, from the first to the most recent ones.
The concert will be a historic event, at 45 years away from the legendary Live at Pompeii of Pink Floyd, who trod the same ground to record a performance that is now a milestone in rock music.
We remember that too David Gilmour will be in concert in Pompeii.
