Free openings for the day on Sundays and admission to 1 euro on Saturdays for the Festival of Museums in Naples!
Also to Napoli and in Campania there will be the Festival of Museums and the And July 2 3 2016 thanks to an initiative of the MibAct.
It will be the "zero" edition of this event that will not only see the participation of state museums of the whole country (which will also be open for free the first Sunday of the month), but also other public realities and many private facilities.
The theme of this edition will be the relationship between museums and cultural landscapes and, for the occasion, there will also be aextraordinary evening opening for the day of Saturday 2 July for the price of 1 €. Instead, as already mentioned, the usual free admission is scheduled for Sunday.
Themes and the public
A feature of this initiative is programming for time slots dedicated to different target audiences, divided in this way:
- Saturday from 9.00 am to 14.00 pm will be dedicated above all to families and children with "Heritage for children"
- Saturday afternoon from 14.00 am to 19.00 pm is dedicated to the curious and passionate with "The story of the Heritage, Largo all'expert, Behind the Heritage"
- the evening always on Saturday, from 19.00 am to 24.00 pm is dedicated to the general public with events open to all arts with "The culture show"
- the whole day of Sunday, on the other hand, will be dedicated to all categories of public with the initiative "The Heritage for / of all" with events relating to participation in the Heritage. There will also be space for associations and citizens and volunteers who dedicate their time to the life and organisers' activities of museums.
