Saturday 26 and Sunday 27 August 2023 the eleventh edition of the special will take place Panuozzo Festival in Luzzano di Moiano, a small town in the province of Benevento. The event is organized by the venue Recreational Sports Club and includes a series of activities that will take place over the two days.
In fact, in Piazza San Nicola, various food stands will be set up, open from 19:45 and until 00:00, which will offer guests many specialties and typical products. Shows are also planned music and cabaret, in addition to the unmissable show of fireworks.
The Panuozzo of Moiano
To the new edition of Panuozzo Festival in Luzzano di Moiano you can taste panuozzo, one of the traditional products of our region, Campania. It is a kind of narrow bun with a length of 25 - 30 cm prepared with pizza dough and subsequently cooked in a wood oven.
The first panuozzo was stuffed with mozzarella and bacon, but obviously at the Panuozzo Festival you can choose various condiments, such as cured meats, cheeses, vegetables and mushrooms. In addition to the panuozzo there will be other products to taste and everything will be accompanied by excellent Aglianico and Falanghina wines.
