All religious and civil events to celebrate San Gennaro and the miracle of the dissolution of blood
La Feast of San Gennaro 2015 will be, as every year, one of the most heartfelt a Napoli so much so that it is celebrated with a series of events, both religious and civil, which attract thousands of faithful and which celebrate the miracle of the liquefaction of his blood.
The Saint is celebrated on September 19th each year, but the initiatives in his honor cover both the preceding and subsequent days. And also this year there will be many appointments to pay homage to one of the most loved saints by Neapolitans.
As mentioned, the event that the faithful await is certainly that of the dissolution of the blood of San Gennaro, an event that actually occurs three times a year: the aforementioned September 19th, Saturday before the first Sunday of May and 16th December, as well as on special occasions such as some visits by Popes to Naples.
