For the European Music Festival 2017 in Naples there will be a rich program of free concerts!
The June 21 2017, under the European Music Festival, among the many participating cities there will also be Naples which for the occasion will organize a series of free concerts. But the program will also include the days before and after, taking place in the city on June 17 and from June 20 to 24 with free concerts and events.
Born in France in 1982 thanks to Joel Cohen to celebrate the summer solstice, the European Music Festival soon became an international phenomenon that includes over 100 countries.
The spirit of the event is to convey a message of culture, participation, integration, harmony and universality bringing music everywhere, even in the most unusual. The events are free as it is a popular festival that has become a real phenomenon over the years overcome cultural, political and social barriers.
The events will take place in the most symbolic places in Naples such as Piazza del Gesù, the Maschio Angioino, Convent of San Domenico Maggiore, the Casina Pompeiana in the Villa Comunale, Villa Volpicelli and the Certosa San Martino.
