The Neapolitan Baroque Festival is back with ten free concerts at the Archaeological Museum of Naples!
From January 29 to 21 May 2018, in various events, will be held at National archeologic museum, the MANN of Naples, the second edition of the Neapolitan Baroque Festival.
The event includes ten concerts by good artists and they will all be free. The exhibition offers us the beautiful and varied music of Neapolitan composers of the sixteenth and seventeenth with some evocative performances that will be held in the Sala del Toro Farnese of the museum.
The event is a way to tell the story and theinfluence of Neapolitan composers of the sixteenth and seventeenth centuries, like Scarlatti and Pergolesi, on the great European classical music.
Naples was at that historical moment the lighthouse of Europe also from the musical point of view and the Neapolitan concerts, symphonies and sonatas will make us understand how much of the great musicians of the caliber of Haydn, Beethoven and Mozart have found a source of inspiration precisely in our Masters.
