The Festival of Kindness of Galleria Principe di Napoli, near the National Archaeological Museum, and includes events on the weekend of 12 and 13 2022 November.
The event is promoted by the association of social promotion Coltiviamo Gentilezza which has created a program of totally free appointments with meetings, readings, workshops and laboratories whose pivot is precisely the kindness theme, which in recent times seems increasingly neglected.
The festival takes place throughout Italy and touches several cities, including our Naples in this intense two days.
The protagonists of the Festival of Kindness
The Festival of Kindness will come to life thanks to the participation of different local realities such as Bicycle House, the bookstore The Workshop of the Words of San Giorgio a Cremano e Lazzarella Bistrot and also received the moral patronage of the Municipality of Naples.
These realities will organize appointments for adults and children, focusing on the importance of being kind not only to one another, but also to oneself, nature and the world around us.
The program of the Festival of Kindness
Saturday November 12
- 10:30: small sowing workshop "Let's sow Kindness". By APS Coltiviamo Gentilezza: reserved for kindergarten and primary school children;
- 11:30 am: “Gentile Readings” by La Bottega delle Parole, for children aged 0 and up;
- 11:30 am: the Bicycle House proposes "Lesson of Ciclofficina", dedicated to teenagers;
- 12:30: presentation of the book "Pedagogy of Kindness" by Viviana Hutter and Mauro Locastro, with the author Viviana Hutter, creator of the Festival and president of the aps Coltiviamo Gentilezza;
- 16:30: presentation of the book by Carolina D'Isanto "Dusty Il Papero Altruista". Following creative workshop inspired by the children's book (from 3 years);
- 17:30: Workshop of the Kind Words. Curated by Viviana Hutter;
- 18:30: Creative workshop with which children can handle “kind”, ecological and low environmental impact materials. Curated by Francesca Vivaldi, expert in creative educational workshops and community projects and networks.
Sunday November 13
- 10:30 am: “Laughter Yoga” lesson. Curated by La Bottega delle Parole, open to adults and children.
- 11:30 am: presentation of the book “Alba. The Words and Silences ”by Patrizia Rinaldi with illustrations by Francesca Assirelli and the curatorship of Luca Trapanese, councilor for social policies of the Municipality of Naples. The meeting will be moderated by Miryam Gison, bookseller who organized Ricomincio dal Libri. There will also be the councilor from Trapani who will talk about the initiatives promoted by the Municipality of Naples in the social field.
- 12:30: Presentation of the book "The Big Book on the Legends of Naples" by Gianmarco Bertone. Illustrated fiction by Officina Milena Kids. Following a drawing and illustration workshop open to all children.
