Festival of the Vesuvian Villas in Herculaneum with theater and concerts

From 4 to 25 September 2021 the thirty-second edition of the Vesuvian Villas Festival will take place, a wonderful summer festival under the banner of ,and danceand music and poetry.

The locations that will host the various events that characterize the program will be Villa Campolieto in Herculaneum and Villa of the Brooms in Torre del Greco.

Like previous editions, the Festival I will aim to enhance the wonderful architectural heritage of the Vesuvian villas using a theater written and set in the eighteenth century.

Vesuvian Villas Festival

To direct the 2021 edition of the Vesuvian Villas Festival is Luca De Fusco who has decided to dedicate it to Paul Isolt, for this reason the first event will be Henry IV of Luigi Pirandello, one of Isolde's favorite authors.

Certainly there will be no lack of music with four conference-concerts with the Felix Quartet and many special guests with Pietrangelo Buttafuoco Wolf and the Moon and Lara Sansone with Goldoni's Innkeeper and others.

At sunset, however, against the backdrop of the beautiful Villa Campolieto, some actors will recite six songs from the Divine Comedy by Dante.
