Starting from Friday 2 until Sunday 25 September 2022 in the wonderful Vesuvian Villas of the Golden Mile the thirty-second edition of the Vesuvian Villas Festival with a full program of activities and events.
The review, which has been taking place for quite some time now, is promoted by the Ente Ville Vesuviane Foundation and the artistic direction is entrusted to Joseph Dipasquale. The theme of the 2022 edition is Seventeenth century project chosen precisely to enhance the great artistic and architectural heritage of the Villas of the Golden Mile, through dance, theater and music.
Four national premieres are also scheduled, namely:
- "Life is a Dream" by Pedro Calderon de la Barca, with Mariano Rigillo, Ruben Rigillo, Silvia Siravo under the direction of Giuseppe Dipasquale;
- Raphael Converted to "The Sidewalk Opera between Kurt Viviani and Raffaele Weill" with elaborations and orchestrations by Roberto De Simone;
- "So it is (if you like)" by Luigi Pirandello with Eros Pagni and directed by Luca De Fusco;
- "Dear Pier Paolo" by Dacia Maraini with Anna Teresa Rossini
