Fish festival in Herculaneum with many seafood specialties

The highly anticipated 2022 Herculaneum Fish Festival will take place again this year in the Herculaneum excavation parking lot, on Via dei Papiri Ercolanesi. The events will take place over three weekends: August 26, 27, and 28, and September 2, 3, 4, 9, 10, and 11, 2022.

The event, which has become a local tradition for the citizens of Ercolano and the residents of neighboring towns, is organized by the Ercolano Committee of the Italian Red Cross (CRI) , and all proceeds from the evenings will be donated to charity.

Tastings, music and entertainment for the sixteenth edition

At the 2022 Ercolano Fish Festival, you'll be able to taste a wide variety of delicacies, not only seafood, but also much more. These will include:

• Seafood risotto
• Cuoppo of the sea
• Mountaineer
• Terra cotta
• Zeppolines
• Chips and sausages

And so much more. The food stands will open at 20:30 and to accompany everything there will be music and fun, for very special evenings.
