The Easter Fair returns to the Decumani in Naples and invites citizens to relive the tradition and keep hope alive!
From 5 March at 3 April 2016, in the historic center of Naples, precisely at Decumani (Including via Tribunali), will be held 2016 Easter Fair, an event linked to the religious tradition of the period and to the message of hope for this time of crisis, completely self-financed.
Now in its fourth edition, the Easter Fair is a way to feel tradition and faith alive during the Easter period, rediscover those values which, together with the economy, are experiencing a hard period of crisis. The message of hope of this review of events is also addressed, to people with disabilities. In this way we want to encourage research institutions and the Municipality to eliminate architectural barriers.
Manifestations, artisans and faith, therefore, will be the background to a fair that will see, in the workshops of San Gregorio Armeno (famous for the crib exhibitions), guided tours and demonstrations on the creation of handmade terracotta artifacts. It can not be missing the path in the typical Neapolitan gastronomy: a tour will take you to the traditional trattorias, pizzerias and pastry shops in the Decumani area.
The appointment for the inauguration is at 11.00 on 5 March 2016 a Piazza San Gaetano to start with one musical show of the group "Piccola a Plettro Partenopea", guitar, mandolin and voice. Mimmo Zazzaro, a singer affected by ALS, will be present.
It will then go to 12.00 hours at the ribbon cutting by the president of the IV municipality, Armando Coppola.
