An interesting program of free films at the Capodimonte Museum in Naples with masterpieces such as Kubrick's Barry Lyndon and Loving Vincent!

In Capodimonte Museum in Naples will start a good initiative for all fans of cinema and art. It will be a review of free movies that will be articulated in 8 projections from November 2 up to 28 December 2017 in the Auditorium on the ground floor.

The films will be in original language, subtitled in Italian, and it will start with a 1919 work by Robert Wiene, "Das Cabinet des Dr. Caligari" up to one of the most popular films of this period, Loving Vincent. It is an animated film dedicated to the painter Van Gogh in which each frame has been drawn by hand.

The program of the festival includes masterpieces like Barry Lyndon by Stanley Kubrick and biographical films dedicated to Frida Kahlo e Caravaggio, . Each evening will begin with an introduction by important personalities from the world of culture such as the director of the Capodimonte Museum himself, Sylvain Bellenger, Anna Masecchia, Marialuisa Firpo, Nicolangelo Gelormini or Francesca Amirante.

even the Hart cinema will be an integral part of the initiative because it will propose welcome drink, to make the evenings more pleasant. Admission is free subject to availability.
