The Fourth Festival of the Fragrance of Acerno arrives. An event to taste the sweet red fruit!
Among the most quoted events in the province of Salerno we also find the Acerno strawberry and again this year it returns to conquer the palates of the many gourmets. The event will be held on 14 July 2013 at, as always, the Monti Picentini Regional Park.
Acerno is very famous for its strawberries and only here you can savor the true taste of the typical fruit: from 2012 the Acerno Strawberry has been included in the National List of Traditional Agri-Food Products!
Forty exhibitors they will showcase food and wine products and typical local dishes, so not only the red fruit. You will find it lemons PGI "costa di amalfi", desserts made with strawberries, Caciocavallo dei Monti Picentini, Pecorini di Carmasciano, la hazelnut of Giffoni, the artisan jams, wines, oils of Salerno and much more!
The 14 July 2013 will be an event dedicated exclusively to yours taste buds? Absolutely not. The Fragrance of Acerno allows you to attend shows e manifestations, like the circus performance, the jazz concert, the fireworks and many other attractions highlighted in the flyer of the special party.
Lovers of and gentle cosmetics they will be able to participate in the off-road excursion that will allow them to admire the naturalistic beauties of Acerno and, again, camp with their own Camper near the equipped area.
Furthermore, the event also has a purpose beneficial. The pastry shops in the province of Salerno will prepare special cakes and the proceeds will be donated to Daniela Vitolo, a young girl from Angri suffering from a rare disease (Multiple Chemical Sensitivity).
