Gay Pride 2016 in Naples: Mediterranean Pride from Fuorigrotta

The Mediterranean Pride 2016 in Naples will start from Fuorigrotta to get to Bagnoli and will be the first gay pride of the Italian wave

Saturday 28 May 2016 in Naples will be on the Mediterranean Pride, the first gay pride in the city after the march on civil unions.

It will be one of the events of the Wave Pride that will run throughout Italy and that just in Naples sees its beginning. It will start from Fuorigrottatherefore, they will no longer be the Lungomare and the historical center the locations of the parade, as happens every year, but a different area.

This year's godmother will be Cristina Donadio, the actress of Gomorrah who plays the character Scianel.
Bagnoli has been chosen by the Campania Rainbow Coordination for a very precise reason, that is to show how much the neighborhood wants a ransom and that many people struggle to assert the rights of minorities.

The Committee that organized the parade has the patronage of the City of Naples, Metropolitan City and the Campania Region and, among the many requests, also asks that we plan the actions against homophobic and transphobic harm especially through meetings in schools, with the creation of shelters for victims of violence and a table against discrimination with the directors of the ASLs and hospitals

The parade will start from Piazzale Tecchio to Fuorigrotta along via Diocleziano to get in way of the Liberation with carts, colors, strisiocni and lots of music.
