Il 28 June 2014 international lgbt pride day will be celebrated with the event Mediterranean Pride of Naples 2014. An entire day dedicated not only to the rebirth of the Mediterranean as a space for cultural, civil, social and economic growth, but also to a broader civil renewal that sees in the LGBTQIA movement (Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Trans, Queer, Intersex, Asexual) the main protagonist.

It is an event that is part of thatwave of pride he saw Naples among the protagonist cities and that will culminate the 28 June in many cities all over the world.
The Mediterranean Pride of Naples 2014 wants to sensitize the population against discrimination, prejudice and violence, but also to ensure that the demands of the LGBT movement arrive effectively on the institutional tables.

The 28 June, therefore, will be organized one great parade which will start from Piazza Dante and continue along via Toledo to reach Piazza del Plebiscito, after which it will stop at the Castel dell'Ovo. Gods will also be present throughout the course carts that will follow the pride in its various stages.

The event was organized by the Campania Rainbow Coordination (Arcigay Napoli and Salerno, Arcilesbica Napoli, Trans Napoli Association, Rainbow Families, Male Plural and other associations, groups and collectives lgbt and not), in collaboration with theIKen Association of Naples and Avellino and with the support of all the other members of the platform.
