The path of the 2015 Gay Pride in Naples which will address the school theme with debates and exceptional testimonials
Also this year it will take place in Napoli il Gay Pride, precisely Saturday 11 July 2015.
The day of LGBT pride and in favor of LGBTQIA rights (Lesbian, Gay, Bisex, Trans, Queer, Intersexual, Asexual) will see a long journey that will start from Piazza Dante at approximately 18.00 / 18.30 and will continue in various streets of the historic center until Castel dell'Ovo.
The Pride
This year's Pride is part of the June Youth and is organized by the Arcigay Committee Naples, Arcilesbica Naples, coordination Arcigay Campania, Transsexual Association Naples, I'm Gay Any Problem? and Coordination Campania Rainbow. Sponsored by the City of Naples, by the Councilor for Education and Cultural Promotion of the Campania Region and by Anci Campania.
The exceptional godmother of the event will be the Neapolitan singer Maria Nazionale, testimonial of the event together with other important guests. Nina Soldano, actress of Un Posto al Sole, actor Carlo Gabardini, Immanuel Casto and and the journalist will be Alessandro Cecchi Paone.
As always, the great will not miss decorated carts, which this year will be 3 and will be accompanied by other vehicles as pickups.
In the previous days some events will be organized, such as the Pride Corrida on 8 July at the Bolivar Theater at 20.00.
The path
As anticipated, the Gay Pride 2015 of Naples will start from Piazza Dante, continuing through Piazza Carità, via Toledo, Piazza Trieste and Trento, Piazza Plebiscito, Via Cesario Console, Via Partenope to end a Castel dell'Ovo. You can consult the route map.
At the end of the walk there will be a debate in which we will talk about the topic school, of education and of Rights.
The debate
This year's Pride will focus on the public education system by dedicating its demands to the school.
School is one of the fundamental places for the growth of an individual, where he forms his identity and where he becomes a citizen. Unfortunately, it is also the place where there is often discrimination and even gays and lesbians can not express their individuality by being attacked by other boys or girls.
Through the hashtag #Dirittiescuola, the Pride of Naples wants to raise awareness on these issues, arriving there where rights are often denied.
