National Family Day at the 2017 Museum in Naples: guided tours, activities and workshops for children in many museums!
THE 8 October 2017 it is celebrated National Family Day at the Museum, event that involves, too in Naples, many places of culture. Last year's success was great: 790 companies took part in the project throughout Italy.
The idea is to rethink museum education and bring children closer to art and culture and the traditions of the territory. To achieve the goal, several sites will be organized workshops, activities and guided tours. The youngest will be able to do so learn while having fun, thanks to the support of specialized personnel.
In Naples there are seven museums that have joined the initiative, proposing a cultural offer of the highest level. Among these the Museum of Capodimonte, Mother, National archeologic museum and Complex of Santa Chiara.
The project is due to the experience of the Kidsarttourism web portal, created by Elisa Rosa. The site welcomes proposals for museum education of public structures and private associations designed to make museums open to all.

Guided tour
Educational experts will guide young visitors to discover the museum's works of art. Each will receive a thematic map and a gadget designed for the occasion. The central theme of the visit will be music, with the participation of Dr. Francesca Dal Lago and Maestro Rosario Ruggiero, who will illustrate the piano to the participants. The initiative is free and is aimed at children aged 7 to 11. Reservation is mandatory.

From the Label apartment to discover the ancient private rooms in the National Library
For the first time there will be a visit to discover the Palace as the sovereigns lived it, in the reception and audience rooms and in the private spaces now occupied by the National Library. We will cross the neoclassical vestibule, the noble floor, skirting the Hanging Garden, the Palatine Room and the current room of the Aosta Fund which also includes the study of Ferdinand II. Guided tour
A guide will lead families on a sensory experience, made of sounds and images, to discover the individual and collective memory of the city. Through the multimedia path Kaleidos you will learn about secrets and stories of the South from 1573 to today.

MANN National Archaeological Museum
Laboratory
The Trasformastorie is the photo collage workshop for parents and children, inspired by the “Amori divini” exhibition.
Young and old will have an interactive experience: each group will listen to four short stories about Greek myths. Each of these stories will then be associated with an image of a work, on which we will work to recompose it photographically. Reservation is mandatory. The workshop is aimed at children between 6 and 10 and their carers.

Palazzo Zevallos Stigliano
Laboratory and guided tour
Through a fun path you will discover the pictorial works of art of the eighteenth and nineteenth centuries preserved in the Gallery. Participants will then paint a view of their choice among those exhibited with the watercolor technique. The activity lasts 90 minutes and is aimed at children aged 6 to 12.

Donnaregina Museum of Contemporary Art - Mother
Visit - game
A play-visit for children aged 6 to 12, who will be able to rework the symbols and themes of the works of art from the museum's collection. The itinerary also includes a treasure hunt for images through the exhibition rooms. On the Gioco dell'Arte, the Game of the Goose of contemporary art, children can have fun moving like living pawns: the prize is a snack at the museum's B'shop Café. Reservation is mandatory.
