A reenactment of the typical 800 Grand Ball in San Domenico Maggiore with waltzes and quadrilles on Strauss music!
In the courtyard of the Complex of San Domenico Maggiore there will be a nice appointment for all lovers of great court dances and vintage clothes. The 13 September 2016in fact, the event will start the "Waltz and melodies of the nineteenth century between Naples and Vienna: Dance and Music in United Europe", a re-enactment of the typical Grand Ball of the nineteenth century.
Wearing historical clothes, you can participate for free and dance on the notes of waltzes and quadrilles faithfully reproduced following the ancient manuals of the masters of 800 to the letter.
The music will be those of Strauss and anyone can freely join the dances, until places are exhausted.
The event, organized by the Associazione Culturale Società di Danza Napoli, is part of the program Summer in Naples and will give you an alternative evening.
